Workflows

Workflows are the heart of event driven automation.

Workflows, configured at the workspace level, enable users to automatically trigger TaskSets or notifications based on activities (such as runsessions being started, or SLO alerts firing).

The following screenshot demonstrates a workflow that automatically triggers a TaskSet based on an alert starting.

Workflow Triggers

The following triggers are currently available:

  • Alerts started firing

  • RunSession started

  • RunSession is updated

  • Configuration changes are made to the workspace

  • A codecollection (that is in use) has new versions available

  • SLXs are configured to use the main branch rather than a tagged release

Action Types

The following actions can take place within a workflow:

  • Slack alert

  • Email alert

  • Google chat alert

  • Run TaskSet
